This camp is a flurry of mix-media opportunities for campers in grades 2-6. If your child loves to collage, sculpt, paint, and draw this camp is perfect. The group will have a wide variety of projects and collaborative installations that will tap into meaningful, tactile, and exploratory artmaking experiences. The students will engage with the Elements and Principles of Art at a deep level as they imagine, transform, and manipulate the different material. We will be using paint, objects from nature, fibers, wire, collage material, drawing material, and clay. And at the end of the camp, students will conduct their own art showcase!
