Artist Nancy Rodriguez will be hosting a doll making pop up workshop for girls from 4th to 8th Grades. We'll talk about the history of doll making, see examples of this fun folk art, and see what doll artists are making now. There are only 10 seats available to this small group. If you think your daughter would be interested, please register today.
What's a pop up? A sudden and unexpected fun event!
Criteria for your daughter:
She’s genuinely interested sewing - thread, needles, stuffing and all (beginner is ok)
She’s positive, hardworking, and loves to make things.
Where: Cumberland Community Church in Smyrna 3110 Sports Ave SE, Smyrna, GA 30080
Dates: March 9th, 16th, and 23rd
(23rd may be subject to change if needed due to Stonehaven MS field trips)
Times: 10am - 12noon (option to bring snack)
Cost: $80 (includes supplies)
Faith based message: Our scripture "snack" will include verses that point to God being at work in our lives, a stitch at a time. ("...you knit me together" ps. 139:13)
Scholarship available? Not at this time but we can work out a flexible solution. If you don't need a scholarship but love our art ministry events, pray about donating toward scholarships for this or any of our workshops and camps.
