HEARTS FOR ECUADOR
A Call to Partner in Missions
About us
We are Nancy & Freedom Rodriguez, lovers of Jesus with a passion to share His love with all people. We are visual artists who are called to the work of ministry, to share God’s truth, beauty, and goodness in creative ways.
Serving local and global communities.
Who and Where are we called to serve?
We are called to serve the Quechua, Afro-Ecuadorian, and Mestizo people of Ecuador. Among these people groups, we prioritize serving widows, orphans, and the most marginalized among them.

Meet Pastor Luis and his family
Pastor Luis and his family live just outside of Otavalo, Ecuador. He’s lived here all his life and serves his community as pastor of a small Quechua/Spanish-speaking church. They have their plights of health and other financial hardships, but he’s most concerned with the younger generation having no solid foundation of faith and identity in their culture. Pastor Luis says there is a lack of inspiring role models for youth. And there is a vital need for Christ-centered, biblically-sound leadership.
Our hope is to serve alongside Pastor Luis in order to reach the Quichua people.
What are the problems you are wanting to address?
Only 2% of the Quichua people are evangelical believers.
Lack of creative and relevant youth outreach
Alcoholism and fathers abandoning families
Large families struggle to pay for their children's education, transportation, and medical treatment.
What will you do to make a difference?
The Gospel (Salvation by grace through faith) is our primary message. God’s love through Jesus Christ is infused in all we do. We are artists and educators who use art and teaching as a means to share the Good News of Jesus.
Faith-based creative workshops for all ages
Youth discipleship/mentorship
Bible Study & Prayer Groups
Biblical Leadership training for future pastors
How can you help?
We’re asking for your prayer and financial partnership to serve in Ecuador.
‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Matthew 9:37–38 (NIV)
Ecuador is ripe for the harvest and the Arts are a perfect conduit for sharing The Gospel.
